  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in blueberries gently.
  5. In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, spread cream cheese mixture, then add remaining batter.
  7. Swirl with a spatula and bake for 55-60 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing. Garnish with fresh blueberries if desired.
