Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the meat or chicken pieces.
- Add browned meat to the crockpot along with vegetables, garlic, broth, and seasonings.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Adjust seasoning and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- For thicker stew, add a slurry of cornstarch and water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
